Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure has one mission: to invest in research aimed at finding the fastest possible route to a cure. We believe that a nimble, focused and aggressive entrepreneurial model will increase the number of therapies discovered and then enable those therapies to be more rapidly driven into the clinic. By providing highly targeted research grants we are able to ensure that critical breakthroughs, using novel translational research, are being pursued. We also understand that this problem is larger than any one of us, so we work hard to create strategic, aggressive collaborations that bring together players from foundations, medical research centers, early-stage biotechnology companies and large multi-national pharmaceutical companies. By buying down the risk for our partners we are able to drive more aggressive projects through the research pipeline and accelerate progress. WaterAid's mission is to transform lives through access to clean water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities. Nearly 800 million people lack sustainable access to safe water, and the lack of clean water is especially burdensome for women and girls who spend hours each day searching for and carrying water. WaterAid works in 27 countries across Africa, Asia, the Pacific Region and Central America, and has reached nearly 16 million people with safe water since 1981. WaterAid's work has helped millions of women return to work, and girls return to school. Please visit for more information about WaterAid's work and how you can get involved.
